Hotel Information - We are blocking rooms at the following hotels:

If (Marquesa!) you plan to book on Travelocity.com, make sure to specify that you want a hotel on the South Side of Pittsburgh. Don’t book a hotel close to the airport – it’s quite far from downtown!  You will need transport to the wedding if you don’t stay at the Sheraton (taxi is fine).

Friday Night 10/9 Dinner for out-of-town guests

  • If you’re arriving Friday night before 7pm, we’d love to treat you to dinner after the rehersal (at our wedding location, J. Verno Studios).  We will send out an invite by Sep 20th, please email vincent.lauria@gmail.com if you don’t receive it.

DISCOUNTED HOTEL ROOMS on Priceline.com

THIS OFFER APPEARS TO BE CLOSED as of 9/16.  Please email me if you have questions, vincent.lauria@gmail.com.  There are a limited number of $89/night Sheraton Station Square rooms on priceline.com, just follow these steps to get them.  With priceline.com, you must place a ‘bid’, if the rooms aren’t available, then you won’t be charged.  In the worst case scenario, you would be charged for a 3.5 star room at $89/night that is only a few blocks away from the Sheraton.  We’ve done it for over 6 rooms with no issues, we get the Sheraton every time.

If you already purchased through our Molnar/Lauria Block, you can try priceline, but DON’T cancel your room just yet (you have until 24 hours before being charged).  We need those Blocked rooms for other guests and I will work with you to transfer the room, please contact me, vincent.lauria@gmail.com.

  1. Goto priceline.com, click the ‘Hotels’ tab.  Then click “NAME YOUR OWN PRICE” at the top left, just below the tabs.
  2. Type Pittsburgh, PA, select your dates (most likely Fri, Oct 9 – Sun, Oct 11) and click ‘Bid Now’
  3. Under STEP 1, select option #4, Downtown Pittsburgh.  For STEP 2, choose 3.5 stars, for STEP 3 type $89.00.  Enter your name and click NEXT. EXAMPLE SCREEN SHOT
  4. Accept the terms and initial the next page, then click ‘Next’
  5. Enter your Billing Address & Credit Card.  If a 3.5 star room is found in Downtown Pittsburgh at $89, YOU WILL BE CHARGED.  However, it seems that the area is so small, that the Sheraton is the only hotel that is booked with this method.
  6. Click ‘Buy my hotel room now’ and wait 1-2 min.  If nothing is booked, or it’s not the Sheraton Station Square, please email vincent.lauria@gmail.com so I can update this page.
